What we keep, and why

Signing asks for a name, a role, a country and an email address. We do not ask for date of birth, address, school, employer, phone number or gender.

Email addresses are stored separately from the public signatory list and are never published. A name appears publicly only if that box is checked.

Story submissions are private until they are reviewed. Published cases are edited to remove identifying information.

Organisation contacts are used only to verify an endorsement.

Turnstile is used to reduce automated abuse. Cloudflare may process the verification token as part of that check.
